it is by his majestys Commands I give you this trouble the Commons have addressed to his Maty to reduce Guyneas from one & twenty shillings & six to twenty one shillings & in proportion other Gold Coyn: there was a pclam. in King Charles the seconds time to raise the value of all gold Coyn as you will perceive by the inclosed it is his matys {illeg} desire yt wenow you will be pleased to make the reduction of ye other Coyns mentioned in the paper as they weare to bear a pportion to Guineas & yt you will be pleased to send it to my house in Essex Street this night or to morrow morning for his Maty hath appointed a Council to sitt to morrow to receive the pclamation I am with the greatest respect
