In obedeience to your Lordps Order of Reference to us {illeg}of the Petitions of severalProposals for importing barrs of fine copper into his Majts Mint for coyning of copper money we humbly represent that we haveupon giving a meeting to the Proposers a meeting, towe find that the Mint may be supplied with barrs such barrs for 19{illeg}d per pound weight Averdupois & not want the most & notor under, but scarce under 1{illeg}8d per pound weight taking back the scissel at the same price. The Mr & Worker is willing to undertake the coynage out {illeg}of those barrs for {illeg} at 3 per lwt & to defray all incident charges after a mint is set up except repairs of buildings. {sic}. And except the payment of the kings Clerk if it be thought fit to have such an Officer.; And so a pound weight of Copper may be cut into 23 or 24 pencesce {sic}. to
Among the Proposers Mr Hind {illeg}& Partner {illeg}are willing to supply the {illeg}Mint wth barrs at 18li {sic} per {illeg} pound weight, & the specimen of Copper wch he shewed to us is good & bears the Assay: but & h{illeg}e is to bring in some barrs for of such copper for our further satisfaction. equally sized to be further examined.
