The condition of this Obligation is such that if the above bounden                           &                           do d{illeg}eliver to Sr Isaac Newton Knight, Master & Worker {illeg}of his Majts Mint in the Tower of London, thirty Tunns of fine British Copper in Barrs, which bars when heated red hot will spread thin under the hammer without cracking & which {illeg}shall{illeg} be of t{illeg}he size or thicki{illeg}ness as shall be prescri{illeg}bed by the said Sr Isaac Newton, so that 46 half pence or 92 farthings made cut o{illeg}ut of the same may weigh make a pound weight averdupois without erring {illeg}above {illeg} the said Sr Isaac Newton paying for without erring above the 40th part of the whole weight, the said Sr Isaac Newton paying to him for the same after the {illeg}rate of 18d by the po{illeg}und weight, the one half in money upon importing the copper & {illeg}the other half in money & scisselcopper together {illeg}g upon returning back the sci{illeg}ssell {illeg} & if the faulty copper., And if {illeg} & the th{illeg}e sand shall allow 18d by the pound weight {illeg} to the said Sr Isaac Newton for the scissel & faulty copper & returned, & take back all such copper as shall nort beare the assays abovementioned, & supply t the sde shall deliver the 30 Tunns of copper by parcels at such times as he the said Sr Isaac Newton shall demand the same so that ye demand do not exceed f fivetwo Tunns in any one Calend{illeg}ar monthweek Then this Obligation

The Condition of this Obligation is such that if the above bounden              & &          shall & will do deliver unto Sr Isa at his Mats Mint in the Tower of London to unto Sr Isaac Newton Knight Master & Worker of his Mats said Mint, thirty Tunns of fine British Copper in barrs of such a finess & size that when heated red hot they will spread thin under the ha{illeg}mmer without cracking & the blancks out of them for making of copperof such size that forty & six half pence of a given breadth or 92 farthings cutoutwithcut out of the same barrs with cutters {illeg} gi{illeg}ven breadth{illeg} mayknown dimensions shall make a {illeg}pound weight Averdupois as nearly as shall be found practicable & without erring by designe, & of the said Sr Isaac Newton paying to him for the same after the rate of 18d by the pound weight Averdupois, the one half in money upon importing the Copper & the other half in {illeg} money & copper together upon returning back the scissel & faulty copper: And if the said               shall take back the scissel & faulty copper at the same rate & allow for the same after the rate of 18d by the pound weight Averdupois {illeg}& shall deliver the said thirty Tonns byby & in such parcels & at such times as he the said Sr Isaac Newton shall demand the same., so that the demand doth not exceed fivesix Tunns in any one month: then this Obligation
