Mr Rother{illeg}ham represents that his Proposal of making such money as cannot be counterfeited in private Mints, may be tried in ten days by the ordinary {illeg}Dyes, & b{illeg}lanks of gold {illeg}or silver, & coining presses, & a certain material to be {illeg}prepared within that time; & that he is willing to let it be tried before such witnesses as his Maty shall appoint, up{illeg}on condition that whenever his Maty shall think fit that this his Poposall {sic} be put in practise {illeg}for coining the moneys of Gold & Silver moneys {sic} he & his heirs for ever shall be appointed supervisorsinspector of the Gravers Office Dyes for {illeg} Dyes Puncheons & Edgers wth a Salary of a thousand pounds per an to be paid in ye Mint Office as other Salaries are paid.
