Middx Ss The Examinaion of Mary Sherston of the parish of St Wapping in the country of Middx aforesd taken this 20th dayof xber 1702
Who saith that the counterfeit that was taken in her custody yesterday was belonging to one Wm: Clement who since has made his escape and saith that her room lay in com̄on for the whole family & that she was bid by the said Clement to bring down ye counterfeit mony so taken upon her, butt does not know who made it, and further sayth that she doth not know how the flask, Screws, files spand crucibles & other materialls taken in her said roome came to be there. cap{illeg}dtut coram me anno et die prædict: J Stanley Mary: her M:S: mark Sherston
