Middx Westmer } Ss The further Informaion of Elizab: Raven taken upon oath this 7th day of July 1703
Who saith that she did receive thirty counterfeit shillings from Jane Salt, now in custody in new prison to putt off, and was to have for her so doing after the rate of five shillings in the pound allowed her from the said Salt, and further deposeth that ye very counterfeit money that was found in her Lodging in Shorts garden and now in the contables hands was ye same she had from Jane Salt about the beginning of Aprill last upon the terms aforesd and yt she this deponent hath about ye beginning of Aprill last seen ye samide Salt Edge or mark counterfeit shillings with a Notched knife in imitataion of the curr:tt coyn of this Realm, And ye Sd Elizab: Raven further upon her oath saith, that she hath allso Rec:d Counterfeit Shillings of Cicilia Labree to the number of about 20 for ye issuing of wch she ye Sd Labree was to allow this Deponent after ye rate of 5s in the pound, and shee further upon her oath saith, yt she dothn very verily beleive ye Sd counterfeit money to be made & finished by ye Sd Jane Salt and Cicilia Labree, and that she had heard them often talk of ye same and that they were to carry the Quere Cole (as they calld' it) to severall customers abroad butt where ys Depontt: doth not know, and further saith yt she hath heard Samll Tibbs who is father in Law to ye aforesd Labree say that once they had gott two thousand pound together and that his daughter Labree did design to gett a 1000.£ more by coyning and then to sett their coach butt that unfortunately they were nipt in ye budd, & further saith that she had heard Mrs Labree say ye same capt Jurat ann: et die supdict: corā me Rogero Smith Eliz: her O mark Raven
