Whereas Wee being graciously pleased to continue Ieremiah Skingsley the second Clerke to the Warden of Our Mint in the said Imployment Doe hereby constitute and appoint him the said Ieremiah Skingsley to be the Second Clerke to the Warden of Our Mint now and for the time being hereby directing and commanding the said Ieremiah Skingsley to observe and obey the Orders and Direccons of Our High Treasurer or Comissioners of the Treasury for the time being in the performance of the Trust hereby reposed in him And for the reward and encouragement of the said Ieremiah Skingsley in the said service Wee give and Grant unto him the usuall Salary of Forty Pounds ꝑ Ann' to be paid by equall Quarterly Payments from Ladyday now last past and to continue during Our Pleasure And if the said Ieremiah Skingsley shall happen to die or be removed from the said Imployment after any of the said Quarters and before another day of payment shall incurr then the said Salary shalbe computed by the day and paid from the time of his last payment during soe many days as he shall have served in the said Imployment And Wee do hereby Authorize and Command the Master and Worker of Our Mint from time to time to pay the said Salary out of Our money in his hands And that the Auditors of the Imprests and all others concerned doe allow such Payments upon Account for which this or the Entry thereof shalbe to them and every of them a Sufficient Warrant Given at Our Court at St Iames's the 9th day of Iune 1702 In the first Yeare of Our Reigne
