Three Guilder pieces are 11 ounces fine & when new coyned weigh out wth another 1oz. {illeg}0dwt. 8gr. but by {illeg}wearing become & therefore are worth in {illeg}new coyned silver money of England 1s. 8d $\frac{\mathrm{}}{\mathrm{5}}$ $\frac{\mathrm{5}}{\mathrm{8}}$. 1s 8d$\frac{\mathrm{3}}{\mathrm{4}}$. & a 3 Guilder piece isworth 5s. 2d$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{4}}$

Three Guilder pieces are by several assays are found about 11 ounces fine & when new coyned weigh one wth another 1oz 0dwt 8gr & therefore are worth in standard silver money of England 5s 2d$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}$ & Ducatons are worth 5s {illeg}5d$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}$$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{8}}$. And Lewidors are there valued adt 3 Guilders 3 Styvers or 65s {illeg}05d$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}$$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{8}}$. And a Lewidors are there bought & sold for about 9 Guilders & 9 or 10 Styvers, that is {illeg}our money 1{illeg}6s. 4d$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}$$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{4}}$$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{8}}$. or for three Ducatoons that is in our money for about 16s 5d., or 16. 6. The price has varieds constantly but has continued at this about this rate in Holland for these last five or six years which whereas we value themthey pass in England at 17s{illeg}, & at ye rate that we value a guinea at 1li. 1s. 6d they are worth 17s. 0d$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}$.

By several assays I find that three Guilder pieces when new coyned are worth 5s 2d$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}$ sta in standard silver money of England. Lewidors {illeg} A Guilder is 20 styvers & Lewidors are bought & sold in Holland for {illeg} 9 Guilders & 9 or 10 Styvers that is in English money for 16s. {illeg} 5d, or 16s. 6d. The price varies after {illeg} constantly but has continued at about this rate in Holland for these last 5 or 6 years. In England at ye rate that a Guinea is valued at 21s 6d a Lewidor is worth 15 16 17s 0d$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}$ wch is about 7d more then it is valued at in Holland. And therefore a G

{illeg} A Holland & German Ducat{illeg} {illeg}is or five Guilder pieces of Gold {illeg}is there are in Holland valued at 5 Guilders & 6 or 76$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}$ styvers that is in or money {illeg}at 8s 8d$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{6}}$ + 6$\frac{\mathrm{3}}{\mathrm{4}}$$\frac{\mathrm{5}}{\mathrm{6}}$ = 9s. {illeg}2d$\frac{\mathrm{3}}{\mathrm{4}}$ By its weight & 2dwt 5gr & fineness 2{illeg}$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}$23$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}$ car. at ye rate of 4li per oz of standard Gold it is worth 98s. {illeg}10d + 6. 167$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{4}}$ = 10. 5$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{4}}$ wch is Bu But in Holland the Ducats are something In France The Holland Ducats are something coarser then ye German & Hungary but Ducats but pass there at the same value.
