The five pound pieces, the forty shillings pieces, the twenty shillings pieces & the ten shillings pieces of gold according to the forms described in the two upper most figures, & the crowns, half crowns shillings & sixpences according to the forms depicted in the {illeg}tw{illeg}o figures next {illeg}below.{illeg} In both wch sorts of money the Reverses of both wch sorts of money have four Escutcheons crowned wth the points of the Escutcheons turned inwards & a star & garter in the middle between the poithe with{illeg}nts & th in the three first Escutcheons {illeg}the arms of great Britain France & Irel{illeg}an{illeg}d & {illeg} in the fourth the arms of his Maje{illeg}sties forreign Dominions being &c And about the the {sic} Heads the inscriptions GEO{illeg} GEORGIVS D. G. MAG. BRI. FR. ET. HIB. REX. F. D. & about the Reverses the inscription BR ET. LVN. DVX. S. R. I. A. TH. ET. PR. E{illeg}L. & the Date above the first Escutch{illeg}eon. And the Groats there pen{illeg}nies two peniesnies & pennies {illeg}after the forms of the larger silver moneys on the Head side with the inscription GEORGIVS. D {illeg} DEI. GRATIA. & on the Revirses after the forms depictdde{illeg}scribed in the four lowest figures wth the numbers 4, 3, 2 & 1 crowed {sic} & the Inscription MAG. BRI. FR. ET. HIB. REX &c & the D{illeg}ate.
The five pound piece, the forty shillings piece the twenty shillings {illeg}piece & the ten shillings piece of gold, according to the forms depicted described in the two uppermost figures, having on the Head side the Inscrip{illeg}tion GEORGIVS D.G. MAG. BRI. FRA. ET. HIB. REX. F. D. & no drapery about the neck & on the Revers four Escuthcheons crowned with their points turned inwards & four scepters {illeg}between them & a starr & garter in the middle between the points of the Escutcheons & in the three first Escutcheons the arms of great Britain France & Ireland & {illeg} in the fourth the arms of his Majesties dominions in Germany, & the Inscripti{illeg}on wth BRVN. ET. LVN. DVX. S. R. I. A. TH. ET. PR. EL. with the date over the first Escutcheon. The {illeg} Crown the half crown the shilling & the six penny pieces of silver according to the forms described in the two figures next below wch forms are the same wth those of the gold moneys {illeg}there being Drapery about the neck & {illeg} scepters better {illeg} & on the Revers no scepters between the four escutcheons crowndthe head side except that on the head side there is drapery about the neck & & have the same inscriptions excepting yt for distinguishing the Gold moneys from the silver Gilt moneys guilt the head hath Drapery about the neck & there are no scepters between the Escutcheons & the starr is more {illeg}pointed. And the four penniyes three pennieys two pennieys & pennieys {illeg}pieces after the forms of the larger silver {illeg}moneys on the head side wth the Inscription GEORGIVS DEI GRATIA & on the Reverse after t according to the forms described in the four lowest figures wth the numbers 4, 3, 2 & 1 crowned & the inscription MAG. BRI. FR. ET. HIB. REX &c & the dDate.
And for distinguishing the gold monies from the silver moneys guilt &the Head upon the gold is without drapery & four scepters are put between the escutcheons.
That the Arms in ye fourth Escutcheon of on the Reverses of the half Crowns & Guinea & Sixpences may not be too much crouded I {illeg}here present your Lordps wth the designes hereunto annexed for those Reverses, most humbly submitting the same to his Maties & Yor Lordps grerat wisdome.
