And whereas by the afforesaid aAct made in the seventh year of her late Maty Queen Ann a summ not exceeding 1200li per ann was allow the Ld Treasurer orf f undertreasurer Great Britain {illeg}& under Treasurer or Commissioners of the Treasury for the time being or any three or more of the said Commissioners of the Treasury for the time being or be were authorised {illeg}allow by order or Warrants to issue out of the Exchequer or dispose of the moenys arising by the Coynage Duties therein granted, yearly & every year {illeg} to issue out of the Excheqrfrom & after the commencement during the said aAct & no longer such summ as he or they shallshould think necessary & reasonable not exceeding in the whole the summ of twelve hundred pounds for the fees & salaries of the Officers of the Mint or Mints in Scotland {illeg}& towards the provi{illeg}ding maintaining & repairing the houses offices & buildings & other necessaries for assaying melting down & coining in the said Mint of Scotland but not sufficient provision was then made for defraying the charge of coynage: Be it further enacted that & which isthat all the moneys hereafter arising by theis saidpresent aAct {illeg}within{illeg} the Kingdome of natioMats D dominions of South Britain shall be appliedissued out to the excheqr of his Maties Mint within the Tower of London for the use & service of ye mint, & all the moneys arising by theis same aAct within his Mats Dominions of North Britain shall in the same manner & by like Warrants & Orders be applied issued to the Exchequer of his Mint in North Brit{illeg}ain for the use & service of that Mint & yt so much & {sic} whatMoneys moneys as shall be further wanting to maintain & support the said Mint in North bBritain shall be issuedmay by Order {illeg}or Warrant of the Ld Treasurer & Chancellour of the Exchequer for the time being {illeg}of the {illeg}Lds Commissionners of the Treasury for the time or any three or more of them from the time being be issued outof from his Mts Exchequer fromout of any publick fund or funds given or wch shall be given by Act of Parliament [the whole the whole summ ch summ for the fees & salaries & fees of the Officers of the said Mint in in N:B & of passing accounts & the defray charges of keeping the said Mint Repair North Brittaain & towards the providing maintaining & reprairing {sic} the houses Offices & buildings & other standing necessaries for assaying melting down & coining in the Mints of Scotland not exceeding 1100li in any one year]imprest to the Master of the said Mint applied to the use of the said Mint to And that it shall be for not exceeding 16 phundred pounds sterling in any one yeare whereofso issued out of the to the Excheqr & said Mint not exceeding th 16 hundred pounds sterling in any one year & the whole summ issued to both Mints in the same year not exceeding 15000li & the who sterling in the same uses as above. And it And it is hereby further that there shall not be allowed in any one year above the summ of 11 hundred pounds sterling for the fees & salaries of the Officers of ye said Mint in North Brit & for the fees of receiving the said money & ye charges of passing the accounts thereof & towards the providing maintaining & repairing the houses offices & buildings & the {illeg}other standing necessaries for assaying melting down & coyning in the said Mint & that the {illeg} overplus of the moneys issued as above shall be imployed for & towards the charge & expence expence wast & charge of assaying melting down & coyning &including the charge of utensils & books accompanying the same& furnaces for performing the same & that of scales & weights & books for receiving assaying sizing & delivering the bullion & moneys & that of stationary ware for keeping the accounts.
