Of Thomas Molyneux & Cha: Mason Esq:rs: who are constituted Comptroller of the Coinage & Monies of Our Sovereign Lord King William within the Tower of ... of the Twelve General Remains of the Clipt Hammerd Monies which were taken by the Rt Hon:ble the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury pursuant to an Act of Parliament Intituled an Act for remedying the ill state of the Coin of this Kingdom. And being first Molten into Ten Thousand Nine Hundred & Thirty three Ingots in Westm:r were then deliver'd to Tho: Neale Esq:r Master & Worker of His Majesty's Mint in the Tower of London to be there Coin'd as directed by their Lordships in their several Warrants from the Treasury herein mention'd And did produce in Standard Silver of Eleven Ounces two Pennyweight of fine Silver & Eighteen Pennyweight of Allay in every poundweight Troy According to the Indenture Between the said King William & the late Queen Mary on the One part & the said Thom: Neale Esq:r on the other part bearing date the 2:d of April in the first year of their Majesties Reign, a Seven Hundred & Ninety Thousand Eight Hundred & Sixty Bunds, One Ounce, Nineteen Pennyweight, Eight Grains Which Standard Silver did make in Tale of New Mill'd Moneys, Two Millions Four Hundred Sixty three Thousand One Hundred & Ten Pounds Seventeen Shillings & Sevenpence Farthing. Which by Virtue of the Warrants before mention'd was paid in Manner following: viz:

The Comptrollment Roll of the Coinage of Our Soverign Lord King William within the Tower of London, Viz: Of the Hammer'd Mony & wrought Plate imported into His Majesties Mint there pursuant to an Act of Parliament intituled an Act for the further remedying the ill state of the Coin of the Kingdom pass'd in the 3d year of his Majesty's Reign. And by virtue of another Act Entitul'd an Act for granting to his Majesty several Duties upon Paper Vellum & Parchment to encourage the bringing of Plate & Hammer'd Monies into the Mints to be Coin'd, which said hammer'd Monies & wrought plate herein mention'd did produce in standard Silver of Eleven Ounces two pennyweight of Fine Silver & Eighteen Pennyweight of Allay in every poundweight Troy according to the Indenture between the said King William & the late Q: Mary of the One part & Tho. Neale Esqr the Master & Worker on the other part bearing date as abovemention'd, Six hundred ninety six thousand nine hundred seventy one pounds sixteen pennyweight & nineteen Grains, which standard Silver did make in Tale, Two Millions One hundred & Seventy Thousand Nine hundred & Seventy Eight Pounds Seven Shillings & Six Pence which by Virtue of the said Act of Parliament & Warrants from the Lords Commissioners of his Majesty's Treasury, was paid in manner following —

Note./ That by the Indentures between their Majesties successively & the several Masters & Workers of their Mints since this Account commenc'd. They have been oblig'd to Coin all the Gold Monies of what species soever of Twenty two Carrats fine Gold & two Carrats of Allay in every pound weight Troy. And all the Silver Coins of the Goodness beforementioned.
Note./ That beside all the Gold mention'd in this Account to be Coin'd at London, there was Coin'd by private Importers between the 1st March 95 & the 1st Ianuary 96 during which time the Encouragement for Coining Gold was taken off by Act of Parliament & the Coinage thereof paid by themselves Viz:t Guineas oz 20s pieces £26186.5.0.
