That upon examining Mr Smithson's Accounts it doth not appear to us that any money is due to him for prosecuting by Order of the Warden of the Mint.

That Mr Newton is of opinion that for encouraging those that prosecute under the Warden it would have been better that all the Coynage Duty including the 400l had been imprested to the Master for the time being, so that he might advance to the Warden any reasonable summs of ready money for that service upon receipts for the same & be discharged in his yearly Accounts by those Receipts
