To the Right Honourable the Earl of Oxford & Earl Mortimer Lord High Treasurer of great Britain.
May it please your Lordship
The Spanish piece of money of two Ryalls sent by your Lordships order to the Officers of the Mint to be weighed assayed & valued is in weight 3dwt 6gr, in assay 3dwt worse then standard, & in value ten pence wanting the third part of a farthing. And twelve such pieces are worth 9s 11d.
