William Chaloner's Letter to Isaac Newton
<85r>
William Chaloner's Letter to Isaac Newton Esqr.
Sir I never could work at the Goldsmiths Trade in my life and those pistoll was made by Coffee and Gravener and all that I ever was guilty of was getting them the stamps
I never graved in flatt stitch graving in all any life and if now it would save my life I could not do it
I have no Dyes as God Allmighty shall judge me nor to my own knowledge know of any body that has the Tool I had before the parliament was rusted and spoiled long ago.
W Chaloner
