I have considered the annexed Petition & beleive find that ye Petitioner did apprehend & prosecute Wm Hawpkins & James {illeg}Harrison & by taking &a journedy of 36 miles to Lincoln Assizes & staying there a week wth his witnesses did conv pr prosecute them to conviction & the estate he petitions for amounts to about 10£ per an̄ but & is not yet seized for his Mats use & I beleive it for his Mats service that suitable rewards such as may be a lease of this estate for so many years as yor Lordps shall think fit may tend to encourage Gentlemen in the Country to Serve his Maty more readily in these matters.
