Holograph fragment of a report on the Mint officers' inspection of the silver recovered from a shipwreck off the Isle of Mayo, advising that the Mint has all the facilities necessary to deal with it and there is no need to set up a new office
<472r>
That upon bringing home the Wreck, the five first Officers of the Mint were by Commission sent down the river to order matters relating to the silver & that they are now ready to serve her Majesty in the same manner if there be occasion. And that the Mint is furnished with conveniences for the first melting without erecting a new Office for that purpose which was lately found very chargeable & troublesome.
